major/first class shipowners/operators such as Mitsui OSK Lines,
Inui Steamship of Japan, Oldendorff, Clipper Group, Precious
Group, Pacific Basin, Gearbulk, Cosco, Zodiac, Armada amongst
others. On the cargo side Meridian has fixed with all major
charterers in the drycargo market including all grain houses
such as Cargill, Conagra, Dreyfus, Bunge, Harvest States also
other charterers such as Pechiney, Alcan, Norsk Hydro, Alcoa and
many more as well as concluded COA’s with Alcoa Pittsburgh,
Rice Growers in Australia, Cefetra of The Netherlands, HC
Trading, Cemex, Enel of Genoa plus many more. Meridian
emphasizes their activities on the handy size segment from
8,000 to 53,000 deadweight tonnage. Meridian has concluded more
than 700 fixtures since it inception and more than 80 long
